Objective,2,To study the effects of Aigui Gel Ointment on improving sexual dysfunction in male mice.,Methods,2,Qualified ICR male mice were randomly divided into the normal control group (,n,=12) and the model group (,n,=60) . The kidney-yang deficiency mice model due to "excessive fatigue and intercourse" was built in the model group. After successful modeling, the mice in the model group was randomly divided into 5 groups with 12 mice in each group, including model control group, positive control group and low, medium and high dose Aigui Gel Ointment groups. The mice in each experimental group were shaved off their backs, and the blank drugs were applied in the back depilation area of the mice in the normal control group and in the model control group as the follow-up control group. The mice in the positive control group was applied with Yishen Healthcare Paste (0.274 g/g) , and the mice in the low, medium and high dose groups were applied with Aigui Gel Ointment (0.172 g/kg, 0.343 g/g, 0.686 g/g) . The drugs were applied 12 hours, once a day for 28 days. The indices including body mass, anal temperature, cold tolerance, reproductive organ index, and serum levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) , luteinizing hormone (LH) , testosterone (T) and estradiol (E,2,) were measured.,Results,2,Compared with the model control group, Aigui Gel Ointment could increase the body mass, anal temperature, cold tolerance and testicular organ index, increase the content of serum T and decrease the contents of FSH, LH and E,2, in serum (,P,<,0.05,P,<,0.05) .,Conclusion,2,Aigui Gel Ointment can significantly improve the sexual function of mice with kidney-yang deficiency due to excessive fatigue and intercourse.
