Research status on pharmacological effects of ginsenoside Rh3
This paper reviews the research progress of the pharmacological effects of ginsenoside Rh3 in recent years. Ginsenoside Rh3 has a variety of pharmacological activities, including anti-tumor, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptosis, neuroprotection etc. It plays a significant protective role in several kinds of diseases (such as colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, leukemia, retinal degeneration, postpartum uterine bleeding, myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, renal chemotherapy injury, chronic dermatitis, ultraviolet-induced skin disease, Alzheimer's disease, and so on) and shows lower chemical toxicity with the possibility to be deeply researched and developed.
