Effect of clearing heat and removing blood stasis traditional Chinese medicine on inflammation of patients with adenomyosis after operation of HIFU
Objective,2,To observe the effect of clearing heat and removing blood stasis traditional Chinese medicine on the inflammation of patients with adenomyosis after operation of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).,Methods,2,Sixty patients with adenomyosis treated by HIFU were included and randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, 30 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with subcutaneous injection of gonadotropin releasing hormone analogue (GnRH-a) on the first day after operation; the patients in the treatment group were treated with clearing heat and removing blood stasis traditional Chinese medicine based on the treatment of the control group from the first day after operation with a course of 7 days. On the first day after operation (before treatment) and the tenth day after operation (after treatment), the scores of Chinese medical syndrome of the two groups were compared, and the effect of Chinese medical syndrome in both groups were evaluated; the levels of cancer antigen125 (CA125), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1) and the inflammatory factors including interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6 and prostaglandin E,2, (PGE,2,) in both groups were tested and compared.,Results,2,①After treatment, the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 96.7% and 83.3% respectively, and the effect of the treatment group was superior to the control group (,P,<,0.05). ②After treatment, the total scores of Chinese medical syndrome in both groups were significantly decreased (,P,<,0.05), and the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group (,P,<,0.05); the scores of all the symptoms in both groups were significantly decreased (,P,<,0.05), and the scores of abdominal pain and sacrum discomfort symptoms in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (,P,<,0.05). ③After treatment, the levels of VEGF and sVCAM-1 in both groups were significantly decreased (,P,<,0.05), the level of CA125 in the control group was increased (,P,<,0.05), and the levels of VEGF and sVCAM-1 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (,P,<,0.05). ④After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and PGE,2, in the treatment group were decreased (,P,<,0.05), the level of IL-1 in the control group was increased (,P,<,0.05), and the level of IL-1 in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (,P,<,0.05).,Conclusion,2,Clearing heat and removing blood stasis traditional Chinese medicine can improve the Chinese medical syndrome, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and control the abnormal proliferation of blood vessels in patients with adenomyosis after operation of HIFU, thus improve the inflammation after operation of HIFU.
