This paper introduced Professor Jiang Jian’s academic experience in diagnosing and treating aversion to cold due to depression syndrome mainly by releasing depression. It is considered that aversion to cold due to depression syndrome is a kind of masked depression syndrome under the cloak of aversion to cold, which has the characteristics of emotional disease, and the symptom of aversion to cold is weird and eccentric, also accompanied by the symptoms of autonomic nerve dysfunction. Furthermore, treating the disease from depression aspect is worked. Fully understanding and mastering the morphology of depression syndrome and abandoning the narrow fixed thought on the etiology, pathogenesis and therapeutic prescriptions of cold syndrome are the two magic weapons to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of aversion to cold due to depression.
