Du Huaitang’s clinical experience in treating cervical cancer with radioactive vaginitis
Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor in gynecology, and radiotherapy is one of the main therapeutic methods. Vaginitis caused by radiotherapy is a common complication, which reduces the therapeutic compliance and life quality of the patients to varying degrees. In the treatment of cervical cancer with radioactive vaginitis, Professor Du Huaitang thinks that mixture of heatness, toxin and dampness, and deficiency of both qi and yin are the basic pathogenesis of this disease, and emotional dissatisfaction and stagnation of qi activity are the important influencing factors. Invigorating qi, nourishing yin, clearing away heat, removing toxin and resolving stasis are the basic principles of clinical treatment. Modified Huangqi Plus Danggui Beimu Kushen Pill is applied based on syndrome differenciation, and has obvious effect.
