Research progress of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in treatment of femoral head necrosis
This paper reviews the research progress of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of femoral head necrosis. Femoral head necrosis is a refractory bone disease in which the microscopic structure of the femoral head is pathologically altered by multiple factors. Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction may treat femoral head necrosis by promoting the proliferation of bone cells and endothelial progenitor cells, improving the hypercoagulable state in the blood vessels of the body, and inhibiting the absorption of bone and the apoptosis of endothelial progenitor cells.
