Analysis of Wang Xiaomin’s clinical experience in treating advanced malignant tumors from perspective of yang deficiency and toxin accumulation
This paper analyzes the clinical experience of Professor Wang Xiaomin in treating advanced tumors from the perspective of yang deficiency and toxin accumulation. He believes that the pathogenesis of advanced tumors is the mixture of deficiency and excess, with yang deficiency in the whole and toxin heat in the local and treats the disease based on the principle of strengthening healthy qi and reinforcing deficiency, warming yang and eliminating stagnation, clearing away heat and removing toxin, and expelling stasis and dredging collaterals. Professor Wang Xiaomin is proficient in using Huangqi (Radix Astragali) and Dangshen (Radix Codonopsis) to strengthen healthy qi and reinforce deficiency, Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) and Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis) to warming yang and eliminating stagnation, Banzhilian (Herba Portulacae Grandiflorae) and Baihua Sheshecao (Herba Hedyotis Diffusae) to clearing away heat and removing toxin, and Tubichong (Eupolyphaga Seu Steleophaga) and Chuanshanjia (Squama Manitis) to expelling stasis and dredging collaterals.
