To investigate the “way out for the evil” method recorded in the Treatise on Cold-Induced Diseases by analyzing the methods of diaphoresis, vomiting and purgation, etc. As a way to expel pathogenic evils, the “way out for the evil” method can drive the visible or invisible evil out of human body from the exterior, interior, anterior, posterior and collaterals. Once the pathogenic evil is expelled, the healthy qi can be preserved. One case is exemplified.
