Research review and considerations on professor Wu Yin’gen’s treatment of bronchial asthma based on warming and tonifying kidney yang method
Professor Wu Yin’gen believes that kidney yang deficiency pattern, as the basic core pattern of asthma, has a significant influence on the occurrence, development and prognosis of asthma. In the treatment of asthma, he suggests taking warming and tonifying the kidney yang as the basic treatment method and has developed a new formula Zhichuan (cough-relieving) capsule. Meanwhile, considerations and prospects are put forward in this paper, including the comprehensive analysis of the influence of genetic and environmental factors on the kidney yang deficiency pattern of asthma, as well as the discussion of the molecular mechanism and clinical research on the treatment of asthma by warming and tonifying the kidney yang method.
