Research on the dispute of “liver without reinforcing method”
By using the retrieval tool of ancient books in Chinese Medical Code and with the help of knowledge archaeology, the related discussion of “liver without reinforcing method” in ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine was sorted out, and its theoretical formation and historical evolution were explored. It was found that the views of doctors were roughly divided into three categories:believing that “liver without reinforcing method” is a previous fallacy; approving of “liver without reinforcing method”, but considering that the circulation of qi and blood is the method of reinforcement; agreeing on “liver without reinforcing method” and liver not bing reinforced. It is considered that the “liver without reinforcing method” should be viewed dialectically, and the liver should not be treated with this concept by suppressing the liver and purging the liver; the liver qi should be replenished carefully while the liver blood can be nourished, and the excess syndrome of the liver should not be supplemented while the liver deficiency should be replenished.
