This paper introduces the clinical experience of academic school of Kang’s hepatopathy in differentiating and treating liver fibrosis of chronic viral hepatitis B based on damp-heat and epidemic toxin. It considers that the etiology of this disease is epidemic toxin (hepatitis B virus), and the key pathogenesis are intermingled damp-heat and qi stagnation. In the treatment,the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine is very important, and removing causes and clearing heat and promoting diuresis are emphasized, as well as regulating qi movement. One proven case is presented.
