Development and characteristics of one-piece neck-shoulder moxibustion apparatus
This paper introduces a new one-piece neck-shoulder moxibustion apparatus, which effectively eliminates the inconvenience and problems caused by applying moxibustion treatment on the neck and shoulder simultaneously. ①The new moxibustion apparatus is composed of a casing and a protective mesh. The casing has a hollow structure with an opening on the bottom, and has a movable cover plate on the top. ②When applying moxibustion, it can be placed on the treatment bed steadily without the support of the patient’s body. ③The casing has a partition board inside, which can effectively separate the casing to form a neck moxibustion compartment and a shoulder moxibustion compartment. ④It can work with needling. Compared with warm needling, this moxibustion apparatus has a protective mesh, so that the ash will not fall off and cause burns to the patient directly. ⑤The smoke is concentrated in the casing, and the moxibustion temperature is stable, with less smoke and pollution. The new moxibustion apparatus has a structure that is novel and unique, simple and reasonable. It has the characteristics of easy production, low cost, convenient operation, high moxibustion efficiency and less pollution.
