Yang Wei’s experience in treating perianal abscess
This paper introduces Professor Yang Wei’s experience in treating perianal abscess. Professor Yang believes that the pathogenesis of this disease is mainly based on the accumulation of dampness and heat, qi stagnation and blood stasis. When the course of the disease is lingering for a long time, the symptoms of qi and blood consumption, yin deficiency and lingering toxin may occur. It is proposed to treat the disease with the “expulsion” method first, then invigorating qi and blood, besieging external pathogenic factors, and to treat the disease by stages. Gangyong prescription, a self-made empirical formula, is used to treat the disease with remarkable effect. And three proven cases are presented.
