Han Yanhua’s clinical experiences in treating chronic pelvic pain
This paper introduces Han Yanhua’s clinical experience in treating chronic pelvic pain. It is considered that the liver is responsible for the changes. The main pathogenesis of the disease lies in stagnation of qi and blood stasis, accumulation of dampness and heat, stagnation of cold-dampness, weakness of viscera, and the key is blood stasis. The therapeutic method is activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis, promoting qi flow to relieve pain, emphasizing the compatibility of soothing-liver-to-regulate-qi herbs and activating-blood-circulation ones . Han’s Fuyan Decoction, an experience prescription, is often used. And one proven case is presented.
