The formulation of TCM terminology set should not only satisfy the characteristics of TCM,such as refining the relationship between terms,reflecting the characteristics of principle-method-recipe-medicines of TCM,and expanding the knowledge of TCM, but also satisfy the relevant characteristics of information,such as coding,indexing,verification, and so on, in order to realize the efficient and accurate query and retrieval function. By constructing and developing, publishing and applying various terminology services, the purpose of the terminology set is to implement the management of the terminology life cycle, accelerate the implementation of related policies, speed up the implementation and application of the relevant standards of TCM and continually improve the terminology set in the application.
