Objective:To study the effects of Ruyiping on the proliferation and invasion of MDA-MB-231 cells and its mechanism. MethodsMDA-MB-231 cells were treated with Ruyiping. The proliferation ability was detected by MTT and the invasion ability was detected by Transwell experiment. The expression of E-Cadherin was also detected by real-time PCR and Western blot in MDA-MB-231 cells after Ruyiping and NF-κB inhibitor stimulation.  Results:Ruyiping slightly inhibited MDA-MB-231 proliferation and significantly suppressed the migration of tumor cells by inducing E-Cadherin expression through NF- κB pathway.  Conclusion:Ruyiping can inhibit the proliferation and migration of MDA-MB-231 cells and its mechanism may be related to the promotion of E-Cadherin expression.
