Zhang Qin’s clinical experience in treating dysmenorrhea due to adenomyosis
This paper introduces Prof. Zhang Qin’s experience in treating dysmenorrhea due to adenomyosis. It is believed that the pathogenesis of the disease is based on deficiency of the spleen and kidney with the mixture of water and blood stasis as a secondary aspect. The way used to treat it is to warm up the spleen and kidney and remove water and blood stasis. According to the regularity of menstrual cycle,the disease should be treated by stages,together with retention enema of traditional Chinese medicine preparation and the influence of emotional factors on the disease should be paid attention to. One proven case is presented.
