This paper introduces Ye Jinghua’s experience in treating urinary system diseases. The treatment for urinary tract infection should be based on eliminating pathogen combined with strengthening vital qi. For acute nephritis,dispersing and clearing heat-dampness are focused. For chronic nephritis,benefiting kidney for clearing heat-dampness and promoting blood circulation for dispelling wind are emphasized. For diabetic nephropathy,the therapy should be slow tonifying and activating blood. For chronic renal failure,the treatment should take reinforcement and elimination in combination,as well as internal and external treatment. For hematuria,the syndrome can be divided into four patterns including excessive heat,deficient heat,qi deficiency and stagnation of blood stasis. For proteinuria,wind,dampness,stasis and deficiency should be paid attention.
