Effects of Zhu’s Bushen Huoxue Prescription on pregnancy outcome of patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion due to kidney deficiency and blood stasis combined with antiphospholipid syndrome
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Zhu’s Bushen Huoxue Prescription combined with standard western medicine in the treatment of recurrent spontaneous abortion combined with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS-RSA). Methods98 patients with APS-RSA with Syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with standard western medicine therapy, the treatment group was treated with Bushen Huoxue Prescription based on the treatment for the control group. The pregnancy outcome was observed, including successful delivery and spontaneous abortion. The changes on antiphospholipid antibody (anti β2-GP1 antibody) and coagulation indexes (D-Dimer and platelet aggregation rate) were compared. Results:①Finally 40 cases in the treatment group and 40 cases in the control group completed the trial. ②According to the follow-up, there were 36 cases of successfully delivery and 4 cases of spontaneous abortion in the treatment group, there were 29 cases of successfully delivery and 11 cases of spontaneous abortion in the control group. The live birth rate of the treatment group was obviously higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). ③Compared between treatment before and pregnancy for 12 weeks, there were statistically significant differences on the anti β2-GP1 level and platelet aggregation rate in the treatment group (P<0.05), while no statistically significant difference was observed on the D-D level (P>0.05); there was statistically significant difference on the anti β2-GP1 level in the control group (P<0.05), while no statistically significant differences were observed on the platelet aggregation rate and D-D level (P>0.05). After treatment, the anti β2-GP1 level and platelet aggregation rate in the treatment group were obviously lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion:Zhu’s Bushen Huoxue Prescription combined with standard western medicine therapy can obviously improve the live birth rate of patients with APS-RSA, its mechanism may be related to improving the blood coagulation and regulating the related immune antibodies.
