Renshen Wuweizi Decoction in the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome due to recurrent respiratory infection in children: 89 cases report
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Renshen Wuweizi Decoction in the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome due to recurrent respiratory infection in children. Methods178 children patients with spleen deficiency syndrome due to recurrent respiratory infection were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,89 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Mamiai Particles(combined bacillus subtilis and enterococcus faecium granules with multivitamines),and the treatment group was treated with Renshen Wuweizi Decoction based on the treatment for the control group,with a course of four weeks. The clinical efficacy was observed,and the TCM syndrome score,the levels of blood routine examination indexes and C reactive protein (CRP) were compared. Results:①=1\*GB3The total effective rates were 97.8% in the treatment group and 94.4% in the control group. There was statistically significant difference on the clinical efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05). ②Compared with treatment before,the TCM syndrome score was decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). ③In both groups,there were statistically significant differences on the levels of WBC,Hb and CRP between treatment before and after(P<0.05),and the EOS level in the treatment group was increased after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment,there were statistically significant differences on the levels of Hb and CRP between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion:Renshen Wuweizi Decoction shows good efficacy in the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome due to recurrent respiratory infection in children,which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
