Clinical study of effects of Shugan Dingji Decoction on proiosystole with syndrome of stagnant liver qi
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Shugan Dingji Decoction combined with propafenone in the treatment of proiosystole with syndrome of stagnant liver qi. Methods 60 patients of proiosystole with syndrome of stagnant liver qi were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with propafenone, and the treatment group was treated with Shugan Dingji Decoction based on the treatment for the control group, with a course of one month. The clinical efficacy and safety were observed. The changes on frequency of premature beats in 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram and traditional Chinese medical(TCM) syndrome scores were compared. Results:①The total effective rates were 65.5% in the treatment group and 37.9% in the control group, and there was statistically significant difference on the clinical efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05). ②After treatment, there was statistically significant difference on the frequency of premature beats in 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram between the two groups, and the frequency in the treatment group was obviously lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). ③After treatment, there were statistically significant differences on the scores of palpitation, chest pain, depression and irritability, restless sleep, deep sigh and the total score between the two groups, and the improvements on TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05). ④Before and after treatment,no abnormality on blood routine examination and liver and kidney function examination was observed in both groups. Conclusion:Shugan Dingji Decoction combined with propafenone in the treatment of proiosystole with syndrome of stagnant liver qi shows better efficacy than propafenone alone, which can obviously improve the clinical symptoms such as premature beat in patients.
