Yang Wei’s experience in treating inflammatory bowel diseases
This paper introduces Professor Yang Wei’s experience in treating inflammatory bowel diseases. It is considered that the diseases are mainly caused by dampness-heat. In active period,dampness-heat accumulates in the intestine and thus leads to impairment of intestinal lipid-blood. The treatment should clear heat and eliminate dampness,activate qi circulation to relieve pain. In remission,dampness-heat remains due to impairment of yang qi. In remission, dampness-heat remains due to impairment of yang qi and. The treatment should clear heat and eliminate dampness,consolidate body resistance and culture primordial qi. Shiyan Recipe and Xuyan Recipe are applied respectively.
