Objective:To observe the effects of Bushen Shugan Huoxue Recipe on menstrual volume and endometrium thickness in patients with hypomenorrhea following artificial abortion. Methods80 patients with hypomenorrhea following artificial abortion were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,40 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Bushen Shugan Huoxue Recipe,and the control group was treated with sequential therapy of estrogen and progesterone,with a course of 3 menstrual cycles and 3-month follow-up. The changes on the Chinese medical syndrome scores,menstrual volume and endometrium thickness were observed.  Results:①Compared with treatment before,the scores on menstrual color and quality,soreness and weakness of waist and knee,breast swelling pain were decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment,the total score and single score of menstrual color and quality,soreness and weakness of waist and knee,breast swelling pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). ②Compared with treatment before,the menstrual volume and endometrium thickness were obviously increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment,the menstrual volume and endometrium thickness in the observation group were greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:Bushen Shugan Huoxue Recipe shows good clinical efficacy on hypomenorrhea following artificial abortion. It can obviously increase the menstrual volume and endometrium thickness of patients,which is worthy of clinical application.
