Liu Zhilong’s differentiation and treatment of type 2 diabetes based on yin and yang syndrome, six meridians and six types of Chinese medicines
This paper introduces Professor Liu Zhilong’s experience in the differentiation and treatment of type 2 diabetes with classic prescriptions. It is considered that the disease should make differentiation of yin and yang syndrome first, and differentiation of six meridians later, and then differentiation of zang-fu viscera,exterior-interior,cold-heat and deficiency-excess. And it is proposed that syndrome differentiation of six meridians and six types of Chinese medicines can be used in the treatment. One proven case is presented.
