Shi Qi’s treatment on acute rheumatoid arthritis from“heat-toxicity bi”
This paper introduces Professor Shi Qi’s academic views about treatment on acute rheumatoid arthritis from“heat-toxicity bi”. It is considered that this disease is caused by accumulated heat-toxicity that further flow into muscles, bones and joints and lead to stagnation of qi and blood. The clinical practice should treat from“heat-toxicity bi”,which base on the therapy of clearing heat-toxicity,eliminating wind-dampness,dredging channels and meridians, and combine with the therapy of dispelling wind and clearing heat, clearing heat and promoting diuresis, nourishing yin and clearing heat, removing blood stasis and dissipating phlegm. One proven case is presented.
