Research progress on immune mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hypertension
This paper reviews the research progress on immune mechanism of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hypertension and its target organ damage. The imbalance of immune regulation function and it mediated persistent chronic inflammatory response have become one of the new topics in the hypertension mechanism research. The imbalance of immune regulation in hypertension mainly involve the nonspecific immunity, specific immunity, regulation of autonomic nervous system on immune response and other aspects. Chinese medicine could play a role in the prevention and treatment of hypertension and its target organ damage by above immune pathway.
