Objective:To discuss the effects of Taibao Decoction on chorionic gonadotropin,estrogen and progesterone in threatened abortion patients with syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney. Methods90 threatened abortion patients with syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney were randomly divided into the control group and observation group,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with progesterone by intramuscular injection,and the observation group was treated with Taibao Decoction based on the treatment for the control group,with a course of 2 weeks. The changes on clinical efficacy,syndrome scores and levels of human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG),estradiol and progesterone were observed in both groups.  Results:①The total effective rates were 82.22% in the observation group and 64.44% in the control group. The clinical efficacy of the observation group was obviously better than that of the control group(P<0.05). ②After treatment,the clinical syndrome scores were obviously decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).③After treatment,the levels of HCG,estradiol and progesterone were obviously increased in both groups compared with treatment before(P<0.05),and the levels in the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:Taibao Decoction shows good clinical effects on threatened abortion with syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney,which can increase the levels of human chorionic gonadotropin,estrogen and progesterone.
