This paper introduces Professor Jiang Zhiyan’s clinical experience in treating chronic cough in children from nose and spleen. He considers that the treatment for this disease should pay attention to treat nose,while treating nose should first regulate spleen. In the perspective of traditional Chinese and western medicine in combination,the reasons for treating chronic cough in children based on regulating nose and spleen are analyzed,and the commonly used prescriptions and drugs are elaborated. One proven case is presented.
