By analyzing the thoughts of five evolutive phases and six climatic factors in Chen Wuze’s original work,combined with the comparison with Ziwan Decoction including the sources,compositions and similar prescriptions,it considered that this recipe was formulated according to the time phase and meteorological characteristics of five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,which run through Chen Wuze’s idea of harmony between human body and natural environment and reflected the academic characteristics of treatment based on five evolutive phases and six climatic factors differentiation. In clinical application,it should pay attention to the differentiation of five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,pathogenesis differentiation and mechanism differentiation,and combine with deficiency and excess of zang-fu viscera and natural cold and heat. This recipe showed definite clinical efficacy in lung and related systems diseases,and the clinical proven case was presented.
