Research progress on chemical components and pharmacological effects of Chaihu Shugan Powder
This paper systematically sorted out and elaborated the chemical components of Chaihu Shugan Powder and its pharmacological research in the treatment of depression,Alzheimer’s disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and metabolism syndrome in recent 10 years. The main chemical components of Chaihu Shugan Powder include saponins, flavonoids, phenolic acids and terpenoids, and it shows multiple pharmacological effects, such as anti-depression,regulation of nerve-endocrine-immune network,anti-inflammation,anti-oxidative stress,lipid-lowering,hypoglycemic activity,anti-fibrosis and so on.
