Xia’s Chinese medical surgery,as a famous Shanghai style of traditional Chinese medicine,has formed the unique academic theory system and accumulated rich experience in clinical application after several generations of inheritance and development. This paper elaborated the theories of “expelling the pathogens nearby as early as possible,protecting yin fluid,blood heat making yang floating” in Xia’s Chinese medical surgery,and the influence of theory of epidemic febrile diseases on it. Combined with the proven cases and modern clinical research achievement,the application was also introduced.
