Objective:To observe the effects of Yupingfeng Granule on immune related indexes in children with bronchial asthma in remission stage. MethodsTwo hundred children patients with bronchial asthma in remission stage were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,100 cases in each group. The control group was treated with montelukast sodium,and the treatment group was treated with Yupingfeng Granule and montelukast sodium,with a course of 2 months. The incidence of cough,fever and lower respiratory infection were observed during the follow-up period of 6 months. The changes of absolute counting of eosinophil (EOS) in peripheral blood,serum total immunoglobulin E (IgE) and inflammatory cytokines(IFN-γ,IL-13,IL-17,IL-9,IL-5)were compared.  Results:①During the follow-up period of 6 months,the incidence of repeated cough,fever and lower respiratory infection in the treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group(P<0.05). ②After treatment,the EOS level of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05). ③After treatment,the total IgE positive rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05). ④There were statistically significant differences on the levels of IL-13,IL-17,IL-9 between the two groups after treatment,and the levels of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:Yupingfeng Granule can be used in the treatment of childhood asthma in remission stage,which significantly prolong the clinical remission period and reduce the cough recurrence and secondary infection. Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of inflammatory cytokines and the function regulation of T cell subsets.
