Analysis on the distribution of chronic gastritis in TCM syndromes and Helicobacter pylori infection
Objective:To investigate and analyze the distribution of chronic gastritis in TCM syndromes and Helicobacter pylori(HP)infection. Methods The related data on 412 patients with chronic gastritis were collected, and the distribution of chronic gastritis in TCM syndrome and HP infection were performed the statistical analysis. Results:①In 412 cases of chronic gastritis, there were 321 HP positive patients who account for 77.9% and 91 HP negative patients who account for 22.1%. ②The syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach(30.1%) and the syndrome of deficiency of spleen qi and stomach qi(29.4%)were most common in patients with chronic gastritis, about 60%. The other syndromes were damp-turbidity retention in middle-jiao(16.3%),incoordination between liver and stomach(8.7%),stagnated heat of liver and stomach(8.5%),deficiency of stomach yin(4.3%)and blood stasis in stomach collateral(2.7%). ③In HP positive patients, the syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach accounts for the highest proportion(32.7%). In negative positive patients, the syndrome of deficiency of spleen qi and stomach qi accounts for the highest proportion(45.1%). Conclusion: The syndrome of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach and the syndrome of deficiency of spleen qi and stomach qi are the most common TCM syndromes in patients with chronic gastritis. Its incidence is closely related to Helicobacter pylori infection.
