Analysis on kinematic parameters of length and angle of cervical spine in patients of neck type cervical spondylosis treated with lifting manipulation in neck
Objective:To objectively describe the influence of lifting manipulation in neck on the length and angle of cervical spine,and provide data support for the quantitative features of lifting manipulation. Methods30 cases of male patients aged 18-36 years old with cervical spondylosis of neck type were selected. The lifting manipulation in neck was implemented by the same senior massage physician. The changes of length and angle of cervical spine in subjects during the lifting manipulation process were collected by high speed motion capture test system for infrared light spot. Results:At the lifting moment,the mean stretched length of cervical spine in subjects was 10.39 mm,and the average angle of flexion and extension was 5.81°. The average angle of lateral flexion was 2.92°and the average angle of rotation was 13.03°. Conclusion:The angles change of cervical spine in subjects at the lifting moment are a complex process including flexion and extension,lateral flexion and rotation. The lifting manipulation in neck is a kind of manipulative reduction to mainly solve the movement limitation of sagittal and coronal planes in cervical spine.
