Clinical study on the influence of Chu’s Shuwei Recipe on pepsinogen and precancerous lesions of gastric cancer of spleen deficiency syndrome with stagnation of bloodstasis and heat
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Chu’s Shuwei Recipe in the treatment of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer of spleen deficiency syndrome with stagnation of blood stasis and heat. Methods130 patients of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer of spleen deficiency syndrome with stagnation of blood stasis and heat were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,65 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Chu’s Shuwei Recipe and the control group was treated with Weifuchun tablets, with a course of 3 months. The TCM syndrome scores, the pathological scores of mucous membrane under the gastroscopy and the pepsinogen(PGI and PGII)were observed and compared. Results:①For the comparison between groups after treatment, the improvement on TCM syndrome(including anorexia, marasmus, abdominal swelling, abdominal pain, loose stool, weakness, belching and so on)in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05). ②For the comparison between groups after treatment, the differences on the pathological scores of atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, chronic inflammation and activity were statistically significant(P<0.05). ③For the comparison between groups after treatment, the differences on the levels of PGI and PGI/PGII were statistically significant, and the effect of the treatment on pepsinogen was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Chu’s Shuwei Recipe shows good effects in the treatment of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer of spleen deficiency syndrome with stagnation of blood stasis and heat. Regulation on serum protein level of PGI and PGII may be one of action mechanisms.
