Research progress on intervention of traditional Chinese medicine in the signaling pathways of chemotherapy-induced hematopoietic stem cell senescence
This paper reviewed the research advance on intervention of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the signaling pathways of chemotherapy-induced hematopoietic stem cell senescence. Chemotherapy drugs can cause bone marrow suppression. At present,it is considered that the hematopoietic stem cell senescence is the key mechanism of bone marrow suppression, involving the main signaling pathway of p53-p21(Cip1/Waf1) pathway and p16Ink4a-RB pathway. It has confirmed that traditional Chinese medicine can effectively intervene on the hematopoietic stem cell senescence.
