Analysis of He Liren’s medication rules in the treatment of vertigo based on data mining
Objective:To analyze Professor He Liren’s medication rules in the treatment of vertigo by using data mining method. MethodsThe medical data of 135 patients with vertigo(404 prescriptions) were collected to establish the database. The medication rules were analyzed in the herbal frequency and compatability. Results:①The frequently-used herbs included Stigmata maydis, Agrimony, Ligusticum wallichii, Semen coat glycines nigrum, White atractylodes rhizome, Rhizoma Gastrodiae, Sedum aizoon L., Giant knotweed rhizome, mulberry leaf, Radix puerariae, and so on. ②The common paired-herbs were Eclipta alba with Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, Radix sileris with Radix stephaniae tetrandrae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra with Radix Paeoniae Alba, Ganoderma lucidum grass with Sedum aizoon L., Cicada slough with Bombyx Batryticatus, and so on. ③The herbs against vertigo were mulberry leaf, Stigmata maydis, mulberry bark, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, and Rhizoma Polygoni cuspidate; the herbs against high pressure were Stephania tetrandra, Flastem Milkvetch Seed, Sophora flavescens, pollen Typhae, and Tribulus terrestris. Conclusion:Professor He usually treats vertigo condition by tonifying the kidney, invigorating the spleen, and nourishing the blood, with the assistance of calming the liver, promoting blood circulation and resolving dampness.
