Clinical observation of “Pingni Decoction” in treating reflux esophagitis with syndrome of stagnated heat in liver and stomach
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of “Pingni Decoction” in the treatment of reflux esophagitis with syndrome of stagnated heat in liver and stomach. Methods60 patients reflux esophagitis with syndrome of stagnated heat in liver and stomach were randomized into the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with “Pingni Decoction”,and the control group was treated with omeprazole capsule,with a course of 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy,endoscope change and the scores of TCM syndrome were observed. Followed up for 3 months, the recurrence was observed. Results:①The total effective rate of TCM syndrome and endoscope in the treatment group were 93.33% and 93.33%,and in the control group were 86.67% and 90% respectively, and the efficacy in the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05). ②After treatment, the scores of TCM syndrome in both groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05),compared between the two groups, the difference on score of TCM syndrome between before and after treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05). ③The recurrence rate was 7.14% in the treatment group and 73.08% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:“Pingni Decoction” shows effect in the treatment of reflux esophagitis with syndrome of stagnated heat in liver and stomach,which could improve the symptoms significantly and repair the endoscopic mucosal injury with low relapse rate after drug withdraw.
