Clinical study on “Shi’s Liqi Guyao Decoction” in treating lumbar disc herniation of qi-blood stasis
Objective:To observe the clinical effects of “Shi’s Liqi Guyao Decoction” in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) of qi-blood stasis. MethodsOne hundred and two LDH cases were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Diclofenac Sodium Sustained Release Tablets, while the treatment group was treated with “Shi’s Liqi Guyao Decoction”, with a course of 21 days. The TCM syndrome score, pain VAS score and lumbar JOA score were observed before treatment and after treatment. Results:①Total 100 cases completed the clinical research, 50 cases in treatment group and 50 cases in the control group. ②The total effective rate was 94.00% in the control group and 80.00% in the treatment group, with a statistical difference between the two groups (P<0.05). ③There was a striking difference in TCM syndrome score between before and after treatment in the two groups(P<0.001), and between the two groups after comparison(P<0.001). ④There were significant differences in the differential value in the decrease of VAS score and increase of lumbar JOA between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion: “Shi’s Liqi Guyao Decoction” has satisfactory effects on lumbar disc herniation(LDH) of qi-blood stasis in relieving lumbago and improving lumbar performance.
