Experience with differentiation and treatment of knee osteoarthritis in Shi’s Traumatology
This paper introduces and summarizes the experience with differentiation and treatment of knee osteoarthritis in Shi’s Traumatology. It is argued that knee osteoarthritis is due to flaccidity and/or obstruction in pathogenesis; its treatment focuses on internal and external intervention, and sinew and bone by regulating qi and blood, nourishing liver and kidney, dissolving bloodstasis and removing phlegm. One proven case was presented.
