Advances on chemical constituent and pharmacology of Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai
This article summarizes the chemical compositions and pharmacologicaleffects of Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai. The main chemical constituents include small molecule compounds such as flavonoids, triterpenoids and alkaloids, and macromolecular compound such as lectin and viscotoxin. Multiplepharmacological activities have been proved, such as the anti-tumor, immune regulation, antihypertension, antiarrhythmia and anti-myocardial ischemia. The aim of this article is toprovide references for further study and the rational use through clarifying the material basis of pharmacological action.
