This paper briefly reviews the research progress of mechanism of acupuncture information in the initiation and conduction on acupoint and its correlation with mast cells. After needle inserting at the acupoint, the material basis, mechanical reaction force, inflammatory response, nerve excitement, substance P, tissue fluid, calcium, Histamine, etc all taking part in the conduction of acupuncture information and activating the mast cells’ degranulation. Degranulation of the mast cells maybe the key in the conduction of acupuncture information in the initiation and conduction.
