Clinical study of “Tongbi Paste” for the treatment of diabetic lower limb arteriosclerosis obliterans
Objective:To observe the effects of “Tongbi Paste” on the patients with diabetic lower limb arteriosclerosis obliterans. Methods64 patients with diabetic lower limb arteriosclerosis obliterans were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 32 in each group. The control group was treated with Tongsaimai Tablet, and the treatment group was treated with “Tongbi Paste”. The courses of the two groups were 3 months. Clinical effects of both treatments were observed, and ankle brachial pressure index, lower lib blood vessel color doppler ultrasound index, blood lipid and plasma albumin changes were compared. Results:①The total clinical efficacy rates of treatment group and control group were 90.63% and 68.75% respectively; there was significant difference in the clinical efficacy between the two groups (P<0.05). ②Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in ankle brachial pressure index in each group(P<0.05). Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in ankle brachial pressure index between the two groups(P<0.05). ③ Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of vessel diameter, peak velocity, and blood flow of dorsalis pedis artery in treatment group(P<0.05). Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of vessel diameter, peak velocity, and blood flow of dorsalis pedis artery between the two groups(P<0.05). ④Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C and FIB in treatment group(P<0.05). Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C and FIB between the two groups(P<0.05). were power of therapeutic group is 90.6% which is higher than 68.8% of control group(P<0.05). Compared with pre-treatment,ABI,blood flow volume and peak flow velocity of dorsal artery improved significantly at twelve weeks after treatment(P<0.05);the treatment group had better effects than the control group in reducing blood lipid and fibrinogen(P<0.05). Conclusion:The clinical effect was satisfactory in the treatment of patients with diabetic lower limb arteriosclerosis obliterans with “Tongbi Paste”.
