Clinical effect of the treatment of glucocorticoid related osteoporosis with the method of invigorating the kidney and promoting blood circulation combined with western medicine
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of glucocorticoid related osteoporosis with the method of invigorating the kidney and promoting blood circulation combined with western medicine. Methods60 patients with glucocorticoid related osteoporosis were enrolled in the diagnosis,randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 in each group. The control group was treated with a lun lin suan naVitD3 tablets plus calcium carbonate tablets, while the treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine of invigorating kidney and promoting blood on the basis of the treatment for the control group. After 6 months of treatment, two groups of visual analog (VAS) pain score, Bone metabolism index, Bone mineral density was observed and liver and kidney function was monitored. Results:① Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in VAS pain score in each group (P<0.05); compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in VAS pain score between the two groups (P<0.05). ②Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in Bone metabolism index of lumbar vertebrae and both side of the hip in each group(P<0.05). Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in Bone metabolism index of lumbar vertebrae and both side of the hip between the two groups(P<0.05). ③Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of BGP, β-CTx, PTH and IL-6 in treatment group(P<0.05), while there was significance difference in levels of β-CTx, PTH and IL-6 in control group(P<0.05). Compared before and after the treatment, there was significant difference in levels of BGP, β-CTx and IL-6 between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion:The clinical effect was satisfactory in the treatment of glucocorticoid related osteoporosis with the method of invigorating the kidney and promoting blood circulation combined with western medicine.
