A retrospective analysis on clinical effects of recurrent respiratory infection on “Qufeng Zhidong Decoction” in treating tic disorders
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the effect of recurrent respiratory infection(RRI) on curative effect of “Qufeng Zhidong Decoction” in the treatment of tic disorders in children. MethodsTwo hundred and seventy-three subjects RRI group and non-RRI group, and treated with “Qufeng Zhidong Decoction” for 9 months. The clinical efficacy, YGTSS score and recurrence rate were observed. Results:①The total effective rate was higher in the non-RRI group than in the RRI group(P<0.05); ②The YGTSS score was lower in the non-RRI group than in the RRI group(P<0.05); ③The recurrence rate was 43.41% in the RRI group, higher than 18.68% in the non-RRI group(P<0.01). Conclusion:Recurrent respiratory infection has a significant effect on the treatment TD and increases its recurrence rate.
