Mechanism of “Peripheral Movement Driven by Shenque” in Tongyuan acupuncture therapy
This paper aims to find out the characteristics of point locating and the action mechanism of Tongyuan acupuncture in view of the theory of “Peripheral Movement Driven by Shenque”. Tongyuan point locating in belly like turtle lying on the Shenque, and the action mechanism include holding congenital Zhenyuan and postnatal spleen and stomach. Tongyuan point locating can transport axis and operating wheel, reinforcing qi and blood, asjusting qi, cultivating sprit.
