Effects of “Zilongjin Tablets” on quality of life in patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Objective:To observe the effects of “Zilongjin Tablets” on the quality of life in patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) Methods:Seventy-eight subjects were randomized into treatment group and control group(39 cases in each group), and treated respectively by “Zilongjin Tablets” and placebo, with a course of two months. The scores of clinical symptoms and quality of life were evaluated before and after treatment Results:After treatment, in the treatment group the scores of such symptoms as fatigue were deceased in comparison with before treatment(P<0.05), with lower scores in the treatment than in the control group(P<0.05); the scores of quality of life such as somatic function were improved after treatment in the treatment group(P<0.05), with more significant improvement in the treatment than in the control group(P<0.05) Conclusion:Maintenance treatment with “Zilongjin Tablets” can improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life in non-small cell lung cancer.
