Clinical research on treatment of adhesive intestinal obstruction with electroacupuncture and herbal nasal feeding and enema
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Adhesive Intestinal Obstruction(AIO) with electroacupuncture and Chinese Medicine Nasal Feeding and Enema Methods:All the 60 patients suffered with AIO were randomized into two groups.30 patients in the treatment group were treated with basic surgical treatment in combination with electroacupuncture and chinese medicine nasal feeding and enema,the other 60 patients in the control group were treated with only basic surgical treatment. The data including clinical efficacy, the restoration of gastrointestinal function, operability were compared between two groups Results:The total effective rates were 86.7% in study group, and 73.3% in control group,with significant difference in two groups (P<0.05). The restoration of gastrointestinal function and the remission time of clinical symptoms and signs of study group was better than control group,there were significantly different (P<0.05). In study group 4 cases have been transferred to surgery, and 11 cases in control group,with significant difference in two groups(P<0.05) Conclusion:The electroacupuncture and chinese medicine nasal feeding and enema in the treatment of AIO promote faster recovery of gastrointestinal function, and improve the clinical efficacy.
