This paper introduces Professor Wang Lingtai’s experience with ascites cirrhosis after hepatitis. It is believed that its key pathogenesis is infection of epidemic factors and spleen-kidney dysfunction, spleen-kidney-yang deficiency in the early and moderate stages, and liver-kidney-yin deficiency in the later stage. The therapeuti  Methods: are principally to warm or tonify kidney and strengthen spleen, and supplemented by activating blood and disinhibiting water; integrative Chinese and Western medicine, and combined internal and external treatments should be prescribed. One proven case was presented.
