Clinical study on Yin-yang-balancing Point-to-point Acupuncture in patients with post-stroke hemiparalysis
Objective:This paper is to evaluate the clinical effect on Yin-Yang-balancing point-to-point acupuncture in patients with post-stroke hemiparalysis according to the paralysis stage, so as to provide effective solutions for clinical treatment Methods:307 patients from 7 research centers randomly divided into A group (104 patients), B group (102 patients) and C group(101 patients). Patients in group A were treated with Yin-Yang-balancing point-to-point acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, patients in group B were treated with Yin-Yang-balancing point-to-point acupuncture, Patients in group C were treated with rehabilitation training, and the course of treatment in each group was 28 days. Clinical neurological deficit scores (NDS), functional comprehensive assessment scale (FCA), motor status score(FMA) were observed Results:① 93 samples were completed in group A, 90 samples were completed in group B and 85 samples were completed in group C after the test. During the 2 months follow-up, 89 samples were got in group A, 88 samples were got in group B and 80 samples were got in group C. ② In full analysis set, the total effective rate in the 3 groups is 77.45%, 71.57% and 62.64% respectively. The difference between each group was statistically significant (P<0.05). Group A and B compared with group C respectively, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). In the completed follow-up set, the total effective rate in the 3 groups is 85.39%, 84.09% and 75.00% respectively, and the difference between each group was statistically significant (P<0.05). Group A and B compared with group C respectively, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). ③ After the treatment of 14 days, 28 days and during the 60 days follow-up, the difference between NDS and base line in each group was statistically significant(P<0.05). The change values of NDS of group A and B were significantly better than group C(P<0.05). ④ After the treatment of 7 days, 14 days and during the 60 days follow-up, the respectively change values of NDS, FCA and the difference of base line was statistically significant(P<0.05). The change values of FCA, FMA of group A and B were significantly better than group C(P<0.05) Conclusion:Yin-Yang-balancing point-to-point acupuncture can improve stroke patients’ comprehensive rehabilitation level, neurological function, limbs motor function. The therapy combined with acupuncture and rehabilitation benefits for stroke patients mostly.
